Configuring ColdFusion On OS 10.3

You will need to access your server with the following URL:

http://localhost:8100/cfusion/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm

This will bring you to the login screen.

Login with the Administration password you chose earlier.

The next screen will tell you that RDS is not installed. Click Next.

On the third screen you can choose to install the sample applications. After you have made your choice click Next.

Hit next at the following screen, and then OK at the last screen to open the Administrator.

When you have opened the Administrator, you will see the screen shown below.

ColdFusion Administrator This is where you will set up the data sources to be used with ColdFusion.

Since we are on a Macintosh, we will be using MySQL. If you still have not configure MySQL and created a database, you will need to do so now.

You will most likely want to install PHP and PHPMyAdmin to assist you in creating your databases. Those tutorials can be found in the Mac Section of tutorials.
